The Miracle Detective by Randall Sullivan

I was checking out Pope Benedict's Jesus of Nazareth from the library and happened to see this book in the same section of shelving.

Sullivan is a reporter for Rolling Stone who became interested in the investigation of miracles, specifically Marian apparitions. Much of the book is about the time he spent in Medjugorje, where he became acquainted with most of the principal players. The book also contains some interesting interviews with Fr. Benedict Groeshel and Fr. Gabriel O'Donnell.

This is one of my favorite books. After visiting Medjugorje a year ago, I re-read the book with even more insight and interest. Perhaps one of the best objective references on the events of Medjugorje. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Marian apparitions and the Catholic Church.
